Andie is a Director for the Grand Pavilion Ltd. A small dedicated group of passionate and professional people that set out some time ago to save this iconic building. We came up with a viable plan to turn it into an Arts, Sport and Entertainment space for the regional community around Matlock Bath and changed an Act of Parliament in the process! Receiving HLF funding in 2013 for the Heritage and Oral History Project, the team put in for a £2.8M Big Lottery bid for the renovation and development of the building which is still ongoing.
Supported by the community and local businesses alike, the project has already saved the building, purchasing it from the local council for £1. We share the space for all types of community use, putting on events for the community, raising the profile of Matlock Bath and it's rich history, as well as private hire for all manner of functions.

Trustee for Challenge Cancer Through Adventure
As a previous Trustee, Andie helped CCTA fulfil it's objectives in supporting applicants with life threatening illnesses to achieve lifelong ambitions through adventurous challenges.
Andie still helps with all CCTA fundraising efforts and promotional activities such as the great Dambuster fun run.

Andie helps and supports Paula Reid in her quest to cycle across all 50 European countries and completing a good turn in each country along the way. Andie helps to organise links to charities , communities and projects on Paula's behalf.
